What mods should i use for oblivion
Open the keychain and select any key you need. Oblivion Reloaded removes many of the graphical limitations that come embedded into the Oblivion core. It basically sets free the post-processing aspect of Oblivion and adds a ton of new tweaks to nature, climate, and creatures. A must-have mod for the graphics enthusiast. I think that one of the fantasies that many of us had when we played Oblivion for the first time was to rebuild the once-mighty city of Kvatch.
And even become its new count or countess! A lot of work surely went to this mod, as I remember this was just beginning to be created when I played in the late s. And as of this writing the mod was last updated in ! It has managed to take one of the best spots on my list because it adds dozens, if not hundreds, of new weapons into the game. They fit perfectly into the world of Cyrodiil! The most important thing about this mod is that it adds variety , which is something that an old game like Oblivion is always missing.
It basically compiles many of the landscapes that have been created by modders through the years and it turns everything into a single mod that makes your game feel as alive as can be. New waterfalls, fantastic new locations to explore, and many new small additions that turn the lands of Cyrodiil into a region that feels much more in-touch with nature as a whole.
It basically makes all parts of the body capable of interacting with others and moving. A fantastic mod altogether with lots of custom options. The race comes with variants and it also adds a bunch of new hairstyles for male characters and female characters too. But the level of detail that was put into creating it sets it apart from other beauty mods.
The shaders do require you to have a solid computer though. So make your your graphics card is up to par. This mod allows you to select how you start in Oblivion, as your character arrives by ship instead of breaking out of jail. You can choose your race, your favorite attributes, and you can even select the type of person that you are which defines how much money you start with. A really fun mod with lods of replay value.
Basically this mod adds dozens of new buildings and activities to every single city in the game , making them feel much more alive. The mod adds almost new spells to the game, all of which you can learn to turn yourself into one of the mightiest wizards to ever set foot on Cyrodiil. Mages rejoice! It improves weather, nature, climate, and more by basically adding cyclical changes that feel extremely natural. A must-have in my opinion. Oscuro's Overhaul changes all of this, setting different level caps for different areas, turning Cyrodiil into a dangerous and unpredictable wilderness.
Oscuro's Overhaul tweaks almost every other aspect of the game as well. Magic is easier to cast, advanced creature AI ensures animals react to you realistically, and boss characters have been scattered throughout the world to provide extra challenge and some desirable loot drops.
A series of smaller mods are also incorporated, adding AI tweaks, balance alterations and hundreds of new weapons and items to the game. Turn your enemies to gold, ride a magic carpet, summon a Balrog and blast your way through 7 new areas. The mod adds hundreds of new magical abilities to Oblivion, along with new mounts, and even transformation powers.
The mod claims to retain the balance of Oblivion, and it does to a certain extent, but once you've gained the most powerful spells on offer, nothing will stand in your way. Check out the insane Lightning Storm ability in the video below.
Unique Landscapes is a series of mods that aim to turn every location in Cyrodiil into a hand crafted masterpiece. Each mod has a different author, and each author is encouraged to bring their individual style to each area, ensuring that no two locations are entirely alike. This mod works beautifully with Qarl's Texture Pack and Natural Environments - combine all of them to see Cyrodiil at its finest.
Francesco's mod shares a lot of similarities with Oscuro's Overhaul. Both mods make Oblivion a more variable and interesting experience by altering the leveling system of the creatures around you.
Players who are new to Oblivion will find Francesco's mod to be a more forgiving experience, especially at lower levels. Francesco's also gives you the option to turn off many of its features, letting you preserve Oblivion's core experience and pick the changes you like best.
Deadly Reflex adds some needed strategic depth to Oblivion's combat, adding a set of new maneuvers and attacks to your arsenal. Current visibility: Friends-only.

I want to keep the game experience very close to the vanilla experience. In other terms, here are the mods that i consider it should or could be part of the vanilla game.
