Bicarbonate of soda solution should work…. Posted 8 years ago. Which fest? The worst part was in the tube leading from the bladder to the bite valve.
All kinds of nastiness that wasn't visible until it came out on the cleaning brush. Definitely don't use vodka. I have no direct experience with Camelbaks, but I do know that putting alcohol into something with that sort of plastic means it will always stink like that and TASTE like that. Unless you enjoy vodka on training rides I once put whiskey and something to mix back in the days before I discovered that whiskey is best alone in a white plastic Nalgene not the lexan kind, you can put anything you like in those and it forever reeked of that.
Because I'm cheap I never threw it away, but I left it outside on a camping trip and a bear destroyed it. Thank you, Mr. I use my Camelbak quite often and just rinse it out and hang it upside down with the cap off.
I also make sure all the water is emptied out of the tube. I fill it with tap water, and there's enough chlorine in it to kill stuff off. Friends of mine have used a mixture of Scope mouthwash and water to really clean it out. That way there's no nasty aftertaste like you could have with bleach. Triathletes probably drink more nasty stuff from swimming in lake water than anything else.
Why, you're quite welcome! Of course you did, you bear-baiter. BTW, sorry about your bottle, but it smelled so good I have one of the camelbak bladders with the real wide opening big mouth?

Zinsser Mold Killing Primer is a water-based EPA registered fungicidal protective coating that can be used to paint over and kill all existing mold, mildew, moss, fungi, odor causing bacteria and any other fungal organisms.
I suppose that pub owners are also somewhat responsible for the alcohol they serve. They can prevent minors from consuming while in their establishments, while it would be very difficult to do this if someone of age were to purchase the alcohol, then share it in public with minors. OTOH, I'm probably putting too much thinking into this. BBThunderbolt and FBarber like this. HouseofWortship Savant May 3, Illinois. Why not just put a DrinkTank growler in your Camelbak pak and run the pour spout from the DrinkTank up along where the water bite valve would be?
Then you can just shoot pressurized beer into your mouth Use a can cozy and don't draw attention to yourself. It's really not a hard thing to get away with. You are overthinking this. BuffaloBill12 and dcotom like this. Laws prohibiting the public consumption of alcohol date back to when most all alcohol laws originated.
Post Prohibition. If citizens were consuming, openly and in the public view, the sky would fall. Dogs mate with cats. Children corrupted. A horrible situation. Why do you hate children Ultrarunner? Better to keep the very immoral and corrupt peculiarity of alcohol to dark space in forbidden rooms. We are all better off this way. Now go to Church and beg forgiveness.
